This is a rocker of a release, each track adds a new dimension, all playable and all ready to rumble them bass bins! First off the artist himself then, Dubjack aka Andy Prior experienced some success last year with the piano led fidget bomb "This Sound" released on Venga Digital - which received all round acclaim. The pianos are well and truly back in the B side "Chop it Up" in which the pianos big to a couple of huge crescendos into that heavy rolling bass. Its all about the ravey synth on the A side though, and we have pulled some excellent remixes in to complete the release. Aniki is another of those names that is all over the place at the moment, and rightly so - exemplory production skills with that aggressive, yet assured electro vibe. He creates a bomb almost from scratch here, utilising the synth in the breaks, look out for the humongous dubstep section - a really well constructed remix. The TLGB remix also leans onto a dubstep tip for a section, but for me the talking point is the unbelievable kick and perc pattern. Great use of this deep techy vibe, adding the vocals, and slamming it into a warpy bass that just chugs along til the dubstep wobble jumps in!
